Breakbot, D.a.m.a., David Carreira And Kungs To Play 33rd Elite Model Look World Final

For 2016, the Elite Model Look World Final will finish with an amazing catwalk show on 23rd November. Four of today's coolest artists will play sets on what will be the biggest, most extravagant show in the competition's history. Playing between catwalk performances by the 62 Finalists, two of Portugal's top acts, D.A.M.A. and David Carreira, are set to appear alongside internationally acclaimed DJs Breakbot and Kungs. Energy and global appeal - the line-up will set the perfect score for this year's contest.

Breakbot

Thibaut Jean-Marrie Michel Berland AKA Breakbot is most recognised for his remixes of artists like Royksopp, Digitalism and Chromeo. Signed with Ed Banderz Records in Paris, he collaborates long-term with artist Irfane - their single ‘Baby I’m Yours’ was a massive hit. Most recently, the new album, ‘Still Waters’ with the track ‘Star Tripper’ was featured on Disney’s Star Wars Headspace.

D.A.M.A.

Lisbon's own D.A.M.A. formed in 2006, making pop with a positive message, with members Miguel Coimbra, Francisco M. Pereira (Kasha) and Miguel Cristovinho. Since their break-out in 2006, their albums ‘Uma Questão de Princípio’ and ‘Dá-me Um Segundo’ both went platinum. Their latest single, “Era Eu,” got to number 1 on the Portuguese charts.

David Carreira

David Carreira began as an actor before discovering his true calling as a musician. His first album made him a star in Portugal in 2011, and he has since worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, TAL, Leck and Dry. He is currently starring as one of the voices in the Portuguese version of the animated film Trolls.

KUNGS

With over 300 million plays on Spotify, Valentin Brunel Kungs is a 19-year-old DJ and producer from France. From The Who to The Kooks with many in between, this essential listening forged the first steps to Kungs's inspiration as an artist. He first gained attention after his remixes of Lana Del Ray and Bob Marley gained millions of plays on Youtube and Soundcloud. In February this year, his track 'This Girl', a remix of Australian band Cookin’ on 3 Burners put him straight to the top of the international charts, becoming the sound of 2016. His debut album 'Layers' released on 4th November is already climbing the worldwide charts day after day.
