How does it feel to be the first Winner of Elite Model Look 2018?

It is amazing! It is a huge honour for me and my family, they are very proud of me. Valérie has scouted me when I was 13 and she has been following me ever since. I never thought that I would win! But I tried to do my best.

At Elite Model Look we say: “your differences make our world”. What makes you different?

I think what makes me different is my personality, and my face. It's been my dream since I started seeing models in magazines, and in our family on my father's side everybody is very tall, so I thought, “why not me?”

Apart from modelling, what is your biggest passion in life?

I have been interested in learning new languages for two years now. It's fun to learn new languages! It gives you the chance to meet so many new people and to travel.

Tell us your favourite...

Song right now: I love "New Rules" by Dua Lipa, because itallows me to disconnect from the virtual world and be aware of what is happening around me in the real world.

Place: The library because it feels good to read. I like to learn new things!

Movie: I do not remember the title anymore but this film was about how love is stronger than anything and we do not have to love someone in relation to their physical, what who they are as a person.

Quote: "What doesn’t kill makes you stronger”.

If you could go anywhere in the world – where you haven’t already been – where would you go? Why?

I would love to go to Paris because I like the atmosphere, the monuments, the fashion, family and the model industry.

Tell us about where you are from!

I am from French Guyana in the French West Indies and for me the thing that is the most famous is a local dish “Colombo de Porc”. You have to try it if you come here! In French Guyana, there is such a diverse range of people from different countries and culture. Everybody lives with everybody else, and I have never experienced racism.

What are you most looking forward to about the Elite Model Look World Final?

I can’t wait to become a model!
