My First Fashion Week With Siggi Steinar
Siggi represented Iceland at the Elite Model Look World Final in 2017, winning a place in the Top 15. He went to Paris just two months later for the menswear shows, appearing in the Loewe presentation. We caught up with him to find out what it was like.
Well done on booking Loewe! What was it like?
It was really nice, the other models and the staff were really fun to work with, and there was a lot of nice food and drinks backstage. It was a presentation, not a fashion show, so it took a lot longer time than a show but it was not nearly as stressful.
Did you go to castings?
Yeah I attended a lot of castings in Paris. Most of them where really fun, but some of them definitely took some time. The after parties where so amazing and I met a lot of really cool people.
Where did you stay during fashion week in Paris?
I stayed in a hotel with 4 other models. It was a nice hotel. We all got along very well and we had a lot of fun together.
Did you meet anyone you knew from Elite Model Look?
I saw Han from Belgium and Antonio from Brazil, Antonio was actually my roommate in Milan, so it was really nice to see him again. I am really glad I did Elite Model Look, it definitely helped me.
