At Elite Model Look we say: “your differences make our world”. What makes you different?

I’m someone who always gives my best, you can always count on me. I adapt extremely easily to all situations and that’s very important, I know that I can accomplish a lot and I’ll do everything I can to achieve it.

What is your passion?

I have a lot of passions! But I would say that my two main ones are basketball and cinema. I have always loved sports and movies, especially the old movies of the 80s and 90s. I would say that I really started to like movies when I was eight or nine years old, when my father first showed me Grease (1971). That kind of film really clicked with me, I love the style and they way the movies were made back in the day. I also like old stuff in general, I collect the old vinyl records that belonged to my father, I love them!

Who inspires you to succeed?

The person who inspires me the most is Neels Visser, because at just 20 years old, he has accomplished a lot of things. He’s a model, a businessman, he makes a little music, and in everything he does, he succeeds. 

What does happiness mean to you?

For me, happiness is being surrounded by the people who matter a lot to you and doing what you love in your life because nothing is better than getting up every morning to do the work you love!

Instagram account: @gaeloupas - he’s a photographer, videographer and a big fashion fan. His account inspires me a lot for style tips and I love his pictures and videos. He has an incredible style of fashion.

Musical instrument: I would like to play piano, I find it fabulous!

Model: Cindy Crawford, she made her mark on a whole generation, shares her beauty and many other things, has had an incredible career and I appreciate the fact that she gives a lot of money to charities and projects. I admire her a lot.

Movie: The Breakfast Club (1985), it’s one of the first teen comedies ever made, and I really find it crazy that you can only make a movie in one room and it works so well! It’s really funny and you get into the characters very quickly. It’s a movie with a nice message for everyone.

If you could go anywhere in the world – where you haven’t already been – where would you go?

I dream of going to San Francisco because it really looks beautiful, the atmosphere seems great and for its history, too. I’m a big fan of the San Francisco Bay NBA team and I would love to go to a game.

How does it feel to represent Switzerland at the 35th Elite Model Look World Final?

It was a really crazy moment, I felt a lot of emotions, mentally and physically, in a few seconds! At first I was really surprised and a little shocked when I heard my name and then when I really realized that I had won, I was so happy, and most of all, proud! I am extremely honoured to join the list of Winners for Switzerland, I hope to be able to do as well as they do, it’s quite crazy when I think that as a young French-speaking Swiss guy living in a small village, I have won this amazing competition and join names like Manuela Frey, Benjamin Aston and Raphael Hatt. I discovered the Elite model look contest on Instagram. One of my best friends encouraged me to apply for the casting. It’s really been something incredible to take part in, I’m really happy to have won and I’m also proud to have been work and training with the other Finalists, and with all the team who we worked with so far, they’re so nice! I am really excited to be able to take part in the World Final, I look forward to meeting the Winners from other countries. It will really be an incredible experience! I’d love to be able to take my best friend with me, he’s the one who gave me the confidence from the beginning. He was there supporting me at the EML Switzerland final with my brother.
