At Elite Model Look we say: “your differences make our world”. What makes you different?

 The thing that makes me different is that I am a twin. Sometimes I find it difficult doing things without my twin sister, but I think it will make me stronger. Another thing that makes me different is that I will always stay true to myself and be loyal and dependable.

What is your passion?

I adore thrift shopping, I just love the idea of giving clothes a second life. I like clothes because I can express myself through them, and love that one person's trash is another person's treasure.

 What is the best advice you’ve received?

To be yourself, no matter what people say. It’s cliché but it is the truth: you should never change who you are to please other people. You can learn from others, but never become someone else.

 If you could give $1m to any cause, what would it be and why?

 I would give it to a cause that helps people who live in war-torn countries everyone deserves a peaceful life, and no-one should be afraid while they are living their daily lives.

Tell us your favourite... 

 Vacation: I loved my holiday to Croatia last year, I went with my friends and we met lots of other people whilst we were there. 

Inspirational quote: "Seize the day".

 Film: Shutter Island (2010). It really fascinates me what can happen in your brain without being even aware of it. It’s strange, with all the technology we have, we still hardly know anything about how our brain works.

 What’s the best thing you ever achieved as a team or in a group?

 The Elite Show Belux finale, with all the national Finalists, who I will miss in my next step with Elite, but I am excited to meet contestants from all over the world.

 If you could go anywhere in the world – where you haven’t already been – where would you go?

 I can’t choose where I would like to go, because I would like to see all the world, not only the nicest places, but everything, so I get a realistic impression of it.   

How does it feel to represent Belgium at the 35th Elite Model Look World Final?

 I’m really excited. I am also a little nervous because it’s all new for me, but it feels really great that there are people who believe in me. I applied to the contest through the agency who were really supportive, my sisters and my friends and family all encouraged me a lot too.  I’m very excited, but it also scares me a little bit, because I want to do a good job, so everyone who supports me can be proud. I've learnt so much so far, and I’ve really enjoyed meeting lots of different people. An important thing that I have learnt is how to walk, the coaches really helped me and now I feel a lot more confident with my walk, which is just in time for the World Final. I can't wait to meet all the Finalists and to get to know them, to learn more about the modelling world and to go on the bootcamp in another country!

 Tell us about Belgium!

 Belgium is famous for chocolates,  beers, and fries. Brussels is the capital of Europe and Bruges is known as little Venice. Some famous Belgians are Stromae, Oscar and the Wolf, Dries Van Noten, Tourist LeMC, or the Belgian football team who are known as the Red Devils. I'm really proud of them, every time they play they bring people together and they always bring good vibes.
