Elite Model Look Castings In Italy, Czech Republic And Serbia

The Czech Republic has produced some amazing winners in the past. Recently, three of their biggest names Denisa Dvořáková, Michaela Kocianova and Adriana Cernanova posed together for Elle Czech, winners in 2004 and 2006 - see the shoot on our Facebook page. "So far we have seen over 1,200 applicants, but we are in the middle of our casting tour," organiser Jiri Zalabak told us. "We’re expecting to see at least 2,000 people in total! One of the most memorable moments so far definitely has to be a beatbox performance by one of the applicants - in the city of Jihlava!"

This year, the judging panel consists of Elite Model Look Czech Republic director and director of Elite Model Management Prague Sasha Jany, Elite Prague booker Eva Dubovicka, Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look Czech Republic Ambasador Zuzana Straska and EML organizer Jiri Zalabak. Most recently, Czech finalist 2015 Kristian Cernik made it into the Top 15. In 2014, Bara Podzimkova was named Overall Winner.

In Italy, the judges were looking for candidates to take to a bootcamp in Milan for the national finals. "Matilde Rastelli, who won a Top 15 place last year, and James Parker, Overall Male Winner 2014 attended," the Italian organisers told us. "Matilde was at the first casting in Milano and James at the casting in Rome. They were really happy to be able to offer advice - and to wish this year’s contestants good luck!”

This year, the Italian competition partnered with the Klépierre Group to visit shopping malls between 23rd April and 9 July. “The Elite Model Look Italia castings have been very good indeed!" the Italian team told us. "We have scouted some very promising girls and boys. In Italy this year, for the first time, we have organised to do castings in 10 shopping malls all around Italy, from Milan to Rimini, Bologna to Turin. We are looking for something inspiring, something that hasn’t been seen before - and we have been really impressed with all the entrants so far!"

In Serbia, contestants hope to follow in the footsteps of previous winners Antonina Petkovic and Danijela Dimitrovska. "We can see the difference between past years when we were traveling around the country and now - the ones that made an effort to come are definitely the ones that are very into modelling.The entrants have shown really strong will and determination, which is really important to make it far in the industry. Our team is looking for the ones that have strong personality and unique look - today, you have to offer the whole package if you want to make it big!
