Where are they now? We take a look back at some of the models who have participated in Elite Model Look recently and see what they are doing now - and where they started from.

2011 and Now: PAULINE HOARAU, REUNION ISLAND

Since representing Réunion Island in 2011, Pauline Hoarau has walked for the likes of Chanel, Emporio Armani, Dolce Gabbana, Valentino, and Jean Paul Gaultier. She became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015 and currently lives in New York.

2014 AND NOW: SERGE RIGVAVA, AUSTRIA

Discovered when he represented Austria at the Elite Model Look World Final in 2014, Serge Rigvava has featured in editorials and advertises in campaigns for the likes of Valentino, shot by David Bailey and Ermenegildo Zegna. His features in editorials include 7th Man Magazine, Philosophy, ODDA Magazine, Esquire China, Wonderland Magazine and Grit Magazine.

2011 AND NOW: JOSEPHINE LE TUTOUR, FRANCE

Joséphine Le Tutour won Elite Model Look France in 2011 and won a place in the Top 15 at the World Final. She has shot campaigns for Chloé, Diane von Fürstenberg, Dior, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. and Zara. Earlier this year she was on the cover for Vogue Ukraine.

2012 AND NOW: Marilhéa PEILLARD, FRANCE

In 2012, Marilhéa Peillard, was Overall Winner at the 29th World FInal. Soon after, she posed for Elle Magazine China and has modelled for Forever 21, Glamour Italia and Victoria's Secret. She currently lives in New York City.

2012 AND NOW: YSAUNNY BRITO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Ysaunny Brito was encouraged to enter the Elite Model Look competition in the Dominican Republic by a friend. She made her runway debut the following September at Paris Fashion Week, walking for brands like Dior and Louis Vuitton. She starred in the Balmain campaign, and she has shot for V Magazine, Vogue Paris, LOVE magazine and 10 magazine.

2012 AND NOW: ANTONINA PETKOVIC, SERBIA

In 2012, Antonina Petkovic  represented Serbia at the World Final, and she has since starred on the cover of Elle Serbia, Love Want Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar. She has also walked shows for the likes of Dior, Chanel, Stella McCartney, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander Wang and Valentino.

2013 AND NOW: MARIE-LOUISE WEDEL, Denmark

Since participating in Elite Model Look in 2013, Marie-Louise Wedel has starred in VOGUE Thailand, VOGUE Russia, Dazed & Confused Korea, Marie Claire Spain, Vanity Fair Italy and Elle Denmark. This year, she starred in the Chanel jewellery campaigns and for Valentino and has covered Revue de Modes.

2013 AND NOW: Amilna Estevão, Cap Verte

Amilna Estevão participated in the EML contest in 2013 and has worked for photographers such as Craig McDean and Daniel Jackson. She has covered Antidote Magazine and The New York Times Style Magazine, and has advertised for Tom Ford, Net-A-Porter, Zara, Topshop, YSL Beauty and CFDA Fashion Week.

2014 and now: Greta Varlese, Italy

Greta Varlese was the Italian Finalist at the World Final in 2014. The very next season, she walked for Givenchy, Chanel and closed for Prada and landed campaigns for Givenchy and Prada. She has also covered magazines, such as Harper’s Bazaar UK and Korea and i-D Magazine.

THEN, 2014. AND NOW: MAYOWA NICHOLAS, NIGERIA

After entering Elite Model Look in Nigeria competition in 2014, Mayowa Nicholas rose to top, walking for Miu Miu, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Paul Smith. She appeared as the first Nigerian model featured in Dolce & Gabbana’s campaign in Fall Winter 2016 and her advertising and editorial credits include Chanel, Balmain, Philosophy, Versace, Moschino, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Topshop, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Hugo Boss, American Vogue and Dazed Magazine.


THEN, 2014. AND NOW: BERTIE PEARCE, UNITED KINGDOM

Bertie Pearce walked straight onto shows after representing the United Kingdom at the EML World Final in 2014, including Tom Ford, Agnes B, Hardy Amies, Hermes, Richard James and Philipp Plein. His editorials include Elle Men Thailand, Vulkan Magazine and has covered Streets Magazine.


THEN, 2014. AND NOW: VICTOR NDIGWE, NIGERIA

2014 Nigerian Finalist Victor Ndigwe made his fashion week debut in Milan and Paris and has walked for the likes of Hermes, Balmain, Fendi, Missoni, Versace, Balmain, Sandro, Brioni, Dolce & Gabbana, Christopher Raeburn, Kenzo and Haider Ackermann. He was the first Nigerian male model to appear in major fashion campaigns, as the face of Missoni and Benetton.
