At the Elite Model Look World Final 2016, Anders Baerentzen represented Denmark, landing a place in the Top 15. Just two months later, it’s men’s fashion week in Milan and he walked in his first show - for Salvatore Ferragamo. We caught up with him to ask what it was like.

Congratulations on your first show! How did it feel?

It was an incredible feeling and experience to do my first fashion week, and to walk for Salvatore Ferragamo! I was really excited about the show and couldn't wait for it to get started. I will never forget the moment when I left the catwalk, I couldn’t believe it!

Did you expect to be doing fashion week so soon after the World Final?

I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was just looking forward to whatever was going to happen. I feel blessed and I'm so happy that I got to be a part of Milan fashion week!

How did your first fashion show compare to doing the World Final show in Lisbon?

The World Final show was awesome, nothing less! I would say that the World Final was more scary because that was my very first time on the runway.

Are you excited for the year ahead?

I am really excited for this year! I’m really looking forward to see what's going to happen, I can't wait!


Do you feel you learned a lot during bootcamp at the World Final?

I learned a lot from the World Final! Ruben Rua taught me so much; everything that I know about how to walk the runway, I learned it at the World Final.
