What is your daily skincare routine?
I always start my mornings by washing my face with ice cold water before I apply coconut oil. It keeps my skin moisturized naturally throughout the day. I find that nothing else really works on my skin as good as this simple oil. In the evenings I'll wash my face with water, and sometimes use facemask. Twice a week I do a face scrub.
What is the best thing you can do for your skin?
I believe in treating yourself well from within, it shines through your skin as well. There's nothing like having a healthy, balanced diet and a good amount of sleep, along with a regular workout. It is the best thing you can do for your skin and hair! Drink lots of water too. The other thing that works for me is that I try to never use any make-up on my skin in daily life. I only wear make-up for photoshoots and after, I remove make-up and moisturise my skin with coconut oil or sun protection.
Do you use any special products?
I find that the Green Tea Mask from Sephora is very easy to use and helps my skin feel soft and hydrated. I also love the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask. Gives a long and smooth glow. I love getting a facial, it's so important to do so every now and then, relaxing and healing for the skin. It is so important to use sun protection, especially on face! I find out that I even get a much healthier tan that lasts longer when I use sun protection than if I don’t use any sun protection.
Do you have any regular skin treatments?
I have honestly found that what works the best is the simplest: water, healthy diet, workout, sun protection and coconut oil. For me personally, the less products I use the better the results. I think that however you treat yourself from within, will have results on the skin.
What do you use on your hair?
Castor oil is great for hair growth, and coconut oil adds lots of nutrients. It's so good for the hair! So I use these both to massage the scalp for couple minutes, about once a week. Other than that, I always use shampoos that doesn't contain silicon!
What is your favourite hairstyle?
My favourite way to keep my hair is just naturally down, and curly. I have natural curls so whenever I can just leave my hair the way it is, it makes me feel free! Sometimes, I like straightening it and putting it in a tight, low ponytail.
Would you ever cut all your hair off!?
I actually have once. Not too long ago, I cut it down to my ears with bangs, it was for a hair campaign and I absolutely loved it! Now it's quite long again, but I am considering cutting it short again! It felt so easy and free with the short hair and easier to maintain.
What is the best advice you ever got for your hair?
The best advice I got was to cut the ends of my hair regularly. That way it stays healthier and thicker and prevents the dead ends of the hairs to spread further.
