Salvatore Corallo is a Winner of the model category. Represented by Elite Model Management Worldwide, this Italian college student aims to become a new fashion icon.
How does it feel to have won the 37th elite model look world final?
I'm still very excited and happy, even though right now I know that I have to prove that I'm truly worth it. It's a big responsibility, but also the most important chance to reach my goals.
What was your favourite moment from the contest?
The contest was very interesting and exciting, but my favorite part of the contest was when we took the photo for Rowenta because I went to the agency in Milan and I met the other two competitors and we had fun taking the photo.
Who was the first person you told when you won?
The first person that I told I had won was my mom and she gasped for one minute. Then she burst into tears and she hugged me.
How did you celebrate?
Me and my family, we did the official announcement like midnight on New Year's Eve by counting the last seconds backwards, and then we toasted with all the family.
Were you scouted, or did you apply online?
I was scouted. The Men's division of Elite Milan asked me to participate in the contest and to learn the basics of the fashion world.
In the contest, you told us you are looking forward to showing the world your energy! What would be your dream job as a model in the future?
My aim is to work with important brands and famous magazines, but my most important goal is to become the icon of the 21st century fashion world.
Do you have any advice to someone who might be applying to elite model look 2021?
The important thing is to believe in yourself and your dream. Work hard and use the advice given by the mentors, showing your personality to the fullest.
